WHAT IS MANUKA HONEY

Manuka honey is harvested from plants belonging to the Leptospermumche family, which gives honey a high percentage of methylglyoxal. Australian Manuka Berringa honey is the only one with the highest concentration of MGO in the world.

EFFECTIVENESS SUPPORTED BY SCIENTIFIC STUDIES

Manuka honey has been used for millennia for several generations, but its discovery and global consumption goes back a few decades. Manuka honey is becoming part of alternative medicine thanks to the beneficial and antimicrobial activity of its active ingredient MGO.

Recent studies conducted by the University of Sidney on Molecular and Microbiological Biotechnologies have shown that Australian Manuka honey has antibacterial activity thanks to the content of an active ingredient called Methylglyoxal; it has been shown that honeys with an MGO content in the range between 500 and 1750 mg / kg have an excellent relationship between MGO itself and antimicrobial activity.

ADVICE ON USE

INTERNAL USE:
